Nightline Ambassadors
Nightline is looking for at least one student at each affiliate university campus to promote Nightline and reach out to more students
About this Role
This role is perfectly suited for students passionate about spreading mental health awareness in their student community, and working with both Nightline and their own university to promote the service. The volunteers use their own experiences of studying at their university to help our publicity reach their peers, forge connections with staff, and run events.
Training is organised on a rolling basis. To see what training dates we currently have available, or to be put on a waitlist if none of our planned dates work, please apply.
Who can volunteer with us?
To be eligible to volunteer for us you must be 18 or over and a registered student at one of our affiliated institutions, or living with one of our affiliated student accommodation providers. To check whether your university is affiliated with us, please check here.
If your university isn’t yet affiliated with us, and you would like them to be, apply as normal and we’ll see what we can do!
Commitment
We expect each Ambassador to do at least 6 hours of work per month. This could take the form of advertising on social media, making connections with staff and students, organising and taking part in events, and distributing posters and flyers.
Other Roles
Publicity not for you? We have other volunteer roles available.
